The Lumberjacks originally called Glens Falls, New York home, and were called the Adirondack Lumberjacks. They played their last game there in 2002, and lost it to the eventual Northern League Champion New Jersey Jackals 4-2 after blowing a 2-1 lead in the top of the ninth inning. The game was the deciding game of the Northern League East Championship Series. The Lumberjacks were one of the more successful teams in the NeL, winning three championships and a Northern League championsip (2000). |
