Baden Cooke is an Australia n Cyclist born in Benalla , Victoria , Australia on October 12 , 1978 . Started competitive cycling at 11 years of age in 1989. Completed High School at Galen College Wangaratta, Victoria . Baden COOKE has participated in the Tour De France in 2002 , 2003 and 2004 with the French team of FDJeux.com . In 2003 Baden Cooke won the much coveted Sprinter s points classification competition Green Jersey by 2 points in a very tight sprinters finish on Stage 20 on the Champs-Elysees with fellow Australian sprinter Robbie McEwen second and Stuart O'Grady seventh in the final points classification. In 2004 Cooke came 12th in the competition for the green jersey when Robbie McEwen won the competition a second time defeating Thor Hushovd of Norway, and Erik Zabel of Germany (third), with fellow Australian, Stuart O'Grady fourth.
