Bbc Six O'clock News




BBC Six O'Clock News is the evening news programme broadcast daily on British TV channel BBC One and BBC News 24 from 1800-1830. It is anchored by George Alagiah and Natasha Kaplinsky (who took over from Sophie Raworth , who now anchors the One O'Clock News), with the deputy anchors being Sian Williams and Bill Turnbull .

The programme first went on the air in September 1984 , replacing the news magazine ''Sixty Minutes''.
