1968 and started operations in May 1968. It was founded as the air transport division of Generalexport, an enterprise for foreign and domestic trade, tourism and air transport. The first flight was made

1990 when the company had 633,932 passengers. Due to
UN sanctions, international flight operations were suspended from June
1992 to October
1994 . Operations again ceased following the
Kosovo conflict, but restarted from November
