The precise location of Autobot City is debatable. Some fans speculate that Autobot City, as seen in the original movie, is located near Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga , Tennessee , USA , based on Autobot City being near a "Lookout Mountain" and the geographical features. Other fans point to Optimus Prime driving on the left-hand side of the road as evidence of Autobot City being in a country like Japan or Great Britain . The only directly-stated-in-the-fiction location for Autobot City is given in the Dreamwave Comics as the Alaskan Wilderness , but their relevance to the original movie is debatable.
