Treacher was Merv Griffin 's announcer and Sidekick on the '' The Merv Griffin Show '' in the mid 1960s and early 1970 s. Arthur Treacher's Fish And Chips was a popular restaurant chain in the 1970s named after him, which continues to exist but does not have as many locations as it did in the past. |
