The Armenians (, ''Hayer'') are a Nation and an Ethnic Group originating in the Caucasus and eastern Anatolia . A large concentration of them have remained there, especially in Armenia , but many of them are also scattered elsewhere throughout the world (see Armenian Diaspora ).
