Amdocs , headquarters in St. Louis , Missouri but primarily based in Ra'anana , Israel , works with Billing and CRM (formerly Clarify, including ClearSales) systems, mainly focused on the Public Sector and Telecommunications . Their clients are primarily the "Tier-1" players like Sprint-Nextel, Vodafone, Verizon, SBC etc. The company was originally called "Aurec Group" (from lat. Aurum - gold). Their application suites help automate CRM, sales, and billing operations for telecommunication service providers. Using the same know-how, Amdocs is branching into the financial services industry as well with the Dutch bank '''ABN AMRO''', its first major non-telco customer. Amdocs provides publishing software for creating print and online directories such as Yellow Pages . The company also offers outsourced Customer Service and Data Center operations. In the USA, they provide billing and directory assistance for 90% of the phone companies. As Of 2005 , Dov Baharav replaced Avi Naor, as Amdocs' CEO . Amdocs has development centres in many countries all over the world including Israel, India , the USA, Cyprus, and Brazil. Worldwide personnel number over 13 000.
