Amadeo married first to HRH Princess Claude Marie Agnès Catherine de Bourbon-Orléans (b. 1943) on 22 July , 1964 in Sintra , Portugal , divorced in 1982 and had issue:

This first marriage lead to a Divorce in 1976 and was Annulled by the Roman Catholic Church in 1987 . The Duke then married Donna Silvia Paternò di Spedalotto (b. 31 December , 1953 ) on 30 March , 1987 in Bagheria , Sicily . They had no children.

Amadeo has an illegitimate child, Pietro Incisa della Rochetta, born in 2006 in Milan, with Down's syndrome. Though before her birth the duke had stated that he would immediately recognize her as his child and provide for her welfare, he has not done so and has instead asked for DNA testing to be performed.
