Following his retirement from First-Class Cricket in
1963 , he ran a printing business. He later reappeared in three limited-over matches.
He has been a loyal member of the Middlesex CCC General Committee for over thirty years. He has served as Treasurer (
1984 -
1993 ), Chairman (
1995 -
1999 ) and President (
2003 -
2005 ). He is currently a member of the
ECB Disciplinary Committee .
He has been the
Chairman Of The Middlesex Cricket Board since
1996 , which runs the recreational game in the
County Of Middlesex .
