At the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst , the AcSM holds the rank of Warrant Officer Class 1 and his appointment is the second most senior NCO appointment in the whole British Army (after the Conductors , Royal Logistic Corps ). He is always a Guardsman . At the Australian Defence Force Academy , the ASM also holds the rank of Warrant Officer Class 1 or equivalent and is drawn on rotation from all three services. |
