The body is funded by North West Academy Of Sport , Ausaid and Tattersalls and is primarily concerned with participation in Australian Football amongst indigenous South Africans. The organisation has seen massive growth in participation through development programs similar to Auskick . In 2004, there were 160 senior and 540 junior players, however this number has been reported to have grown to over 3,000 by 2006. {Link without Title} LEAGUES & COMPETITIONS NATIONAL TEAM The Buffaloes are South Africa's national team, and have participated in the 2002 and 2005 Australian Football International Cup tournaments, finishing 11th and 8th place respectively.
