There are differences in preference flows between "safe Liberal" (e.g. Kooyong) and "safe Labor" (e.g. Melbourne) seats as detailed in the table below.

  • Family First preferences to the Liberals were higher in Kooyong than in Melbourne

  • Democrat preferences to the Greens did not differ between the two seats

TOP 25 GREENS RESULTS IN HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES IN 2004
