''2001: A Space Travesty'' is a ''. It is rated R due to its sexual humor and is 99 minutes long. The movie has featured in IMDB 's bottom 100 list. SUMMARY In this film, then-President Bill Clinton is cloned by Dr.Griffin Pratt played by Peter Egan . Clinton's clone is an incompetent hack who is placed in the Oval Office . Meanwhile, the real President is kidnapped and taken into outer space. It is the job of Detective Richard "Dick" Dix, played by Nielsen, to find the President and return him safely to earth. He teams up with female dectective Cassandra Menage played by Ophelie Winter . In the process, Dix encounters setbacks and as typical with most Nielsen movies, much silly humor occurs. For example, when the president's identity is in question, Dix partially disrobes the President to prove that the real Clinton bears a Birthmark on his Buttocks . The climax of the plot line occurs at the Opera in Paris where In The Navy is sung by three Tenor s ( Luciano Pavarotti , Josep Carreras and Plácido Domingo ). Other major roles are played Ezio Greggio and Damien Masson. |
