Information About

1936: Horror

In twenty four events run over the course of three years, the 1936: Horror LARP , heavily influenced by Mike Young's Dark Summonings Campaign and John and Rebecca Corrado's Outpost Chi Campaign, pushed the envelope in the development of LARP theory.

In addition to serving as a further synthesis of the concept of campaign play (generally associated with Live Combat or '' Mind's Eye Theatre '' games) and Theatre Style principles, the campaign radically altered the way in which NPCs or Cast were used in Adventure Style LARP, and served as a testbed for the development of Community Based LARP principles, in which payment is balanced based on contribution of Time, Expertise, Resources, and Money (TERM).
