INTRODUCTION The 1920s Boom was the 'High Times' of the American Life. It started in the early 1920's and lasted till around 1929, when the New York Crashed (24th October 1929 - 29th October 1929). From then on, a worldwide depression was in order. During the Boom, many products and services were introduced. For example, Moonshine was a popular alcholic beverage at the time, but because of Prohibition , it was illegal throughout the USA. Also during the 1920's, the new entertainment, the Cinema was introduced! Many new job oppotunities became available, and so many people living in America during the 1920's were happy with their lives, and felt confident that the boom would continue for many years to come! SPEAKEASIES Speakeasies were a popular bar that people could go to, to socialise and drink alcholic drinks (Which was illegal at the time). The most popular alcholic beverage being ' Moonshine '. CINEMA Cinema was also another popular activity to do in the 1920's. It was relatively new to the entertainment scene. It increased job numbers in America whilst making the people of America happy!
