IRT Lexington Avenue Line closed October 27 , 1904 November 7 , 1948 18th Street, located at Park Avenue and 18th Street , was only open from 1904 to 1948 . The station was closed because of platform lengthening at 14th Street-Union Square . It is possible to see the lights of 14th Street-Union Square down the tracks from the platform of this station. The station is inaccessible from the street, but still shows heavy Graffiti . It can be seen through the windows of any Lexington Avenue Local train. |
