This unit is not the same 15th Field Artillery Regiment that served in the Second World War, but was a designated costal defense battery defending Vancouver. The 15th Coast Brigade RCA, was tasked with the defences of the port of Vancouver, British Columbia. The battery manned three 6 Inch Mk7 Guns. It saw no combat action for the duration of the war. In 1948 the Regiment was redesignated as a Field Artillery Regiment. {Link without Title} |
