INTRODUCTION A lot of Bible readers and Christians believe there is a 3 and a half year period during the end times. However, some believe that that period is actually 1260 years, based on a different interpretation. THE EVIDENCE Here are the Bible verses used in this hypothesis: ''"And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months."'' Revelations 13:5 ''"...even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years..."'' Numbers 14:34 ''"I have appointed thee each day for a year"'' Ezekiel 4:6 40 and 2 months, when divided by the number of months in a year (12), is 3.5 years. That is how most believe it is. However, some believe that each day is actually a year. Using the Jewish calender, each month is 30 days, and each year is 360 days. 42 months multiplied by 30 days is 1260 days. If each day is a year, then it is 1260 Years . EXTENDED HYPOTHESIS The most popular accusition of who the "evil last empire" of the is according to this theory is the AD. 1798 - 538 is 1260 years.
