The book contains photos of airplanes of about 1,000 different Airlines , as its title announces. The photos were taken around the world, but London , Miami , and Villavicencio, Colombia , seem to have been the photographers' favorite locations. Photographers who collaborated include Bob O'Brian, Peter Price, John Smith, and Steve Williams. Although chapters are arranged alphabetically in the book (that is, the chapter dedicated to the airlines whose names start with a ''C'' follows the chapter dedicated to airlines whose names start with a ''B''), within the chapters, airline companies themselves are not so arranged. Appearing below each of the photos is a short description of the plane pictured. |
